Used as a bonding or suspension agent for application that requires particulate minerals.

Abrasives-

Used in formulation of precision polishing compounds especially for plastics.

It also acts as processing aid for viscosity control and can serve as high temperature binder.

Insulation Compounds/ Sheathing Compounds-

Used as a Flame retardant filler and shows heat stability up to high temperatures.
